Dan,
I been at the lake for a little over a week and am just now catching up on my mail. I would very much like to visit with you and see what your wife, the expert, (ha ha) knows about the family. I have very little information from Gertrude on down and would love to compare notes on the rest of the family. My e-mail is blujean1@msn.com. Give me a shout and we'll make our trees grow!

Do you know anything about the Cokeleys (or Coakleys) in the 16th and 17th centuries. I am a descendant of James Cokeley and I am most interested in knowing where his Cokeleys came from in Ireland. Have you any ideas on this? Or sure knowledge??

Thanks, Liz

My Number One Cokeley guy is William H. Cokeley born on June 23, 1800, I think in Virginia. He died on July 17, 1876 in Logan, Iowa. I no nothing before this time or for sure anything about his parents.

Family reunion held in Loomis, CA in April was a blessing. Learned so much of my grandfather and great-grandfather info.
