My great-grandfather was Fred Simmons Cohenno. He was married to Eunice Wry from Nova Scotia. I don't know anything more about him or her.

It's been a few years since you posted this, and you probably have long since learned that Fred Simmons Cohenno was originally Fred Newell Simmons the son of Nathan White Simmons and Abby Littlefield and his name was changed to Cohenno in 1890.

I'm distantly related--some of my first cousins are Cohennos of this family. I've not been able to get back with the Simmons line past Thomas Simmons and Hannah White (married 1793), have you? I'd be happy to share what I know with you, although I suspect you know a great deal more than I do by now.

Can you tell me more about Fred N Cohenno? And do you know who the first Cohenno was who immigrated into the USA from Holland? I'm trying to find out if I have any (immidiate) family in the USA.
Thank you
