Ray and Willie were my paternal grandparents. Howard (not Charles) was my father. He died Dec. 2, 1995 due to complications from open-heart surgery. Aunt Loretta was still alive and living with her daughter Michal in Torrence, Ca. a year ago but I have not heard from Michal for over a year. I am Howard's child from his first marriage to Mary Ann McCue. I have two living half sisters: Kenneth Ann who lives in Austin and Elizabeth Lynn who lives in the Houston area. The youngest daughter, Janet Ray died about 20 years ago. I am trying to figure out and trace my father's family history and if you have any information you would like to share. please contact me at hamiltj@netzero.com or 915-362-4201 or write me at 1736 E. 53rd St, Odessa, Tx 79762. Looking forward to hearing from you. Jaime Hamilton

There's a large group of Coheas in southern Illinois from the Missouri/Kentucky area. If you were to search Cohea on this web site and choose Il for your state, I'm sure you'll run across some. There's a bunchof us all over; and some of us girls even kept our maiden name cohea as our middle name.

Best of Luck!!!

Jack,
I only found 1 search result for George W. Cohea It was in church reacords. Acording to it He was married Nov 26, 1873 to Margaret Coker. His parents were Archibald and Nancy Cohea. The dates dont match up with my dates to be Adley Coheas parents. He was born in 1811. and George was born in 1850.Unless there is another Adley I know there was at least 4. I have record on. I have never heard of these Cohea's tho.But I know they must be kin somehow. Cause I was raised in Coffeeville, and Granada and all these places are my old stopin grounds. They are very small towns and close togather, so if there was any Coheas there. i know they was kin. Anyway were did you find your info on ansester.com? I cant find it. You can go to see my family tree here and view my notes. Do a search for Adley Cohea. i also have tons of old photos going back to the 1800's I will be puting in soon as I figure out how. But you can view them at My family.com My web page is clawson resting nest if you send me your email I will add you as a member then you can add stuff if you want. Well have a good nite.
