Do you have an Uncle Gus that lived shortly in Alabama that worked for SCI. They were on Green Mtn while they were here. Granny is not too sure of he name but it was a son of the Cogbill that owned the truck dealership. They had looked up the Cogbill name while they were here and called my grandparents. This particular one knows my Grandfather and his family really well where they always visited after chuch. This would be part of the same Cogbill thread a little way down started by Holly.

Jim had the truck dealership and his brothers Bo was over the state pen and Tom was a sheriff, right? If so, they are the ones my Grandfather's family always visited after church when they were younger. My grandfather is Beodric Cogbill from Pine Bluff, son of Delmon and Lillian(West) Cogbill.

Jim Cogbill was the GMC dealer. His brother Tebo was Lincoln Co. Sheriff, and other brother Capt. Tom was a warden at the state pen.

I am also trying to find information on Delmon Cogbill, Sr.. My father is Delmon Junior Cogbill (died in 1995) from Pine Bluff, AR. I really do not know too much about any of the family but the immediate siblings of my father. Edward, Robert Lee, Glendora & J.W. are my aunts and uncles. If you have any information on how I can start tracking information, please contact me. Thanks so much.

Since my last message to you, I have now spoken to my mother in Pine Bluff. She told me who you are because your grandfather is my uncle. He is the brother of D.J. (my dad) and we call him Uncle Son. I do not think that I ever knew your grandfather's real name. You must be Gail's (my cousin's) daughter? email me if you want to or get a chance. Thanks

Thsoe are my grandfather's aunt and uncles. Glendora just passed away last week so he is the last remaining of them. They have a great aunt, Lora's aunt, that is still living also. Feel free to email me and I'll see what I can help you with. One of my brothers was named Delmon after my grandfather's dad.
