Howdy Glenna!

I remember an "aunt Glenna" from when I was very young. Cecil Kniceley was my uncle by marriage to my Dad's sister Leal...or was He Gregory...I get that one mixed up some times. Aaron must be related to my cousins wayne and Clel (uncle Russ's boys), who are in Ford's C.E.P.#2 as I am. I really miss uncle Russ, the family story teller, what with his "kaswarp!" ( his word for a sound made during an action description)...really cute & amusing to use in a story. Len

Howdy again! Have you learned anything more? I still don't know Grampa Cowger's first name. Gotta look through several pages I got from Cousin Vance's estate lawyer. He was Opel Cogar's son. I finally learned the ship was a "pink" called the John & William, not pink John & william as I heard it. Some say Jacob begat Peter, but the way I got it, they were brothers & a village hall record from 1754 saud Peter's son Michael was adopted " in the presence of a negro wench".

The way I got it, Jacob was Peter's brother who landed here in 1729, according to ship's manifest. Peter in 1734. Both in Philly, PA, as it seemed to be the ships USA port of call? The "pink" named the John & William, was a 2 or 3 masted Dutch-built merchant marine.
