My paternal grandfather was Elvin Ernest Cogar. He married Sarah Jane Gillis. They had 7 or 8 children. One of those was Glen, my Daddy. Evidently Elvin was quite the cad, leaving the family to fend for themselves. This fact does not diminish my desires to know more about this side of my family. Any info. on Elvin or Sarah would be greatly appreciated. Email me directly.
Thank you.

It is very likely the same family. My father was born in 1913. He was 47 years older than my mother His name was Lee allen Burrows. His family mostly lived in west Virginia. I have very little info on them, I have requested more info. from my cousins that have stated close together. My mothers name is Marilyn boley burrows. Mom also was sure that Martha Burrows died in 1962-63 before I was born. I am interested in keeping in touch and trying to find out were the family was orginally from.
