Very interesting information. Is there anyone in the family that has worked on the family geneology. Our knowlege of the cofran family stops at my father. I remember him telling me he lived in Boston for a time, but I don't know the period of time. My brother kealii visited littleton NH and says there were allot of cofran's there and talked to a Librarian but wasn't able to obtain too much information because too many years had past. It would be interesting to find out about the cofran family history and the tibeau family as well.
Our grandfather on my mothers side was french (bishaw) and grandmother hawaiian (pe'elua) and grew up in molokai. her parents died when she was very young and her brother Joseph and Cecelia took care of her. The family was left with property lemon street in waikiki but were forced to sell. we have relative that live on various islands.
