Emory Cofran from Byron, NY was my grand father. I don't recall my father ever talking about a "Manley" though. There were relatives in Erie county, infact, Emory lived there at one time.

I once found a George Cofran in Houston (when I first bought a computer) and he was also originally from Erie Coounty. We corresponded but I don't think the families were connected.
