I'm glad to see that you are still trying to turn up information on your family. Below is some information on your grandfather's relatives.

OTIS COE, son of Norman Jackson and Mary F. (McGraw) COE, was born June 22, 1897, in Meriwether County, GA. A farmer at Woodbury, he died August 23, 1980, at Ellaville. Burial was at Cedar Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.

He married Lizzie Pearl Lee, born June 3, 1897, in Georgia, died July 23, 1974, at Riverdale, GA.

Children (b. in Meriwether County, GA):
1. Willie Clyde, b. Sept. 28, 1925.
2. Minnie Mae, b.c. 1927.
3. Robert, b. Aug. 22, 1929.
4. Davis Eugene, b. 1933 (your grandfather).
5. Otis Lamar, b. 1937.

NORMAN JACKSON “Jack” COE, son of Drury W. and Mary (Langley) COE, was born in January 1854 in Georgia. Rather small, about 140 pounds, he lived in Upson County in 1880 and before 1900 moved to Meriwether County. A farmer, with a mustache, he grew watermel-ons on rented land between Greenville and Woodbury. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He died of heart disease May 11, 1934, at Route 4, Greenville. Burial was at Jones Chapel Church Cemetery, on Route 85, north of Woodbury.

He married December 20, 1875, in Pike County, GA, Mary F. McGraw, born January 1854, died February 3, 1940, daughter of William and Sarah McGraw. Burial was at Jones Chapel Cemetery.

2. Daniel, b. Aug. 30, 1878.
3. Rosella “Ella,” b. Jan. 1880.
4. Lemmie C., b. Jan. 1881.
5. Jesse J., b. Dec. 1882.
