I am researching the family tree of WILLIAM JOHN FREEMAN (born:1775), his wife, ELEANOR JANE GILTRAP (born:1781) who married in 1796 and lived in Wicklow, Ireland. They had four children: SARAH (born: 1802), JOHN (born:1804), CATHERINE ELLEN (born: 1814) and THOMAS (born:1817). The family emigrated to: Ontario, Canada in 1825. Sarah Freeman the oldest child, married Thomas CODD in 1832 in Ontario, Canada. Thomas is thought to have also emigrated from Wicklow, Ireland. If you believe there is a connection, please contact me at: sfreeman@compusmart.ab.ca

I have been researching the Flinn family. John Flinn married Henrietta Codd Dec. 23,1823 in lanark County, Ontario. Henrietta was the daughter of George Codd and Mary Blackburn. I think the Codd family and John Flinn came to Canada in abt. 1820 aboard the Brock. If you could be of any help it would be greatly appreciated ! thanks Clyde Smith

I have a different child of George Coad/Codd and Mary Blackburn on my tree: Thomas Coad (b. 1824 in Wicklow). Do you have any information on other Coads in this line, as well as information on when they came to Canada? I appreciate whatever help you have.

My mother, Ouilda Lee Code was the daughter of Roy Lee Code and siter to Roy Denton Code. All buried in Meeker, OK just north of Shawnee. I have heard the stories of the Catholic Church in Altus, Arkansas. I have a picture of my Grandfather's mother who was 1/2 Cherokee Indian. My Grandfather's brothers scattered as young men. I believe there was a brother named Lon. It seems there were four brothers and maybe a couple of sisters....maybe a Bonnie and/or Lettie? You may also respond to leeann@mottmedia.com

There are Church of Ireland records for Aghowle Parish and probably Fitzwilliam land lease records for Dack/Dagg families.
There are Dagg burials at Coolkenna,Aghowle Parish.
Who has the Dack Family History as I am looking for Dagg & Dowling marriages?
