Codd brothers 1902

Surnames: Codd
I am related to the four Codd brothers who came to New York in 1902. Mark Codd was my great grandfather, he married Lizzie McLoughlin and had 10 children including John Codd b.1921 who was my grandfather. I have found conflicting information some saying Mark's father was Martin and others saying Michael who married Mary Anne Kelly. If anyone from the four brothers family has any information for me going back further I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Unfortunately, "the four Codd brothers" could be anyone. Can you provide more information on the brothers?
*What were their names?
*Where did they immigrate from - place of birth, not embarkation?
*What were their approximate ages?
*What type of information is it you have that conflicts?

Both Mark(s) and Martin are common names in my tree, so if there's a chance of a connection, I'd be happy to help.

Martin Codd (1818-1892), had a brother Nicholas, I don't know about other siblings. Martin moved from Greenmeadow,Ireland to Liverpool sometime after 1881 to live with his married daughter, Mary Frances Costello, and died there. Martin Codd married Catherine Browne of Enniscorthy, and their children were Catherine (1849-1937),Mark, Margaret, Minnie, Lizzy, Patrick, and Mary Frances(1860-1932).
Martin was my great great grandfather, and Mary Frances my great grandmother.

Hi Maire. I don't have access to my notes at the moment, and haven't looked at them in quite some time, but I believe Martin's brother, Nicholas, was my great-grandfather. If so, they were the only brothers with several sisters. I'll double-check that info when I get home and get back to you.
