I am not sure that David Clinton Cocke was the son of the Henry Cocke listed in all Previous posts...unless Henry (b. 1741) Had a son at 6 years old (David b. 1748). Walter Flood Cocke (B. 1655) had a son named Thomas (B 1679) who had a son named Lemuel (b.1722) who had Henry Cocke. There were so many Cox/Cock/Cocke/Coks families who knows which one is right without a DNA analysis from a direct descendent of John Cox and David Clinton Cox to ascertain when the first common ancestor is.
