My great grandma's name was Alta M. Cochran. Her middle name was Mariah, but her parents couldn't spell it, so they put M on her birth certificate. She married into the Cummins line, but I do not know to whom. Their daughter, Rebecca Cummins married Ronald Dutton. I also know that somewhere up the line there was a Long John Cochran. He was a big time stage coach robber & was never caught. I also know that Rebecca's daughter, Alta E. Dutton married into the Klindworth line. Her & James got a divorece, however, and then she married into the Montejano line.
