Rose J. Coccarelli Rose J. Coccarelli, 81, died Saturday afternoon, April 14, 2007, at Millcreek Manor following a lengthy illness. She was born in Erie, daughter of the late August and Salutina Coccarelli. She lived in Erie all of her life. She was employed as a secretary for the Lyman Felheim Construction Co. for over 20 years before retiring in 1979. Rose was a 1944 graduate of Academy High School and a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church. She enjoyed doing puzzles, reading and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Rose is survived by two brothers, Louis Coccarelli and Martino Coccarelli, Sr. and his wife, Patricia all of Erie; one sister-in-law, Edith Coccarelli of Erie; three nieces, Ann Marie Davis, Laura Drapcho and her husband Gary and Linda Cirillo and her husband Gary, all of Erie; five nephews, Martino Coccarelli, Jr. and his wife Shelley, Anthony Coccarelli, Sr., Paul Coccarelli all of Erie, Steven Coccarelli and his wife Susan of Minn. and August Coccarelli and his wife Sue of Maryland; 13 great nieces and nephews, Katie, Kara and Kym Drapcho, and Nicholas, Angela and Martina Coccarelli and Valorie and Michael Konnerth, all of Erie, Diana and Daniel Davis of Maryland, Anthony Coccarelli, Jr. and his wife Christie of Ark., Jakob and Charles Coccarelli of Minn. and a great great niece, Cory Coccarelli of Ark. She is also a survived by many cousins. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Rinaldo, John, Armando Coccarelli and Father Augusto Coccarelli and one niece, Diane Coccarelli. Friends may call Wednesday morning at the Gathering Space at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 2701 East Avenue in Erie from 10 to 11 a.m. at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated there, officiated by Rev. James G. Gutting. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Calvary Cemetery.
