Married fourth: Mary Catherine Arthur Brown, date unknown, Morgan Co. (?), IN
She died July 4, 1917 in Ashland, Cass Co., Ill.

David's mother's name was supposed to have been the Iphama (Ifama, Ifamy, Iphamy) after whom Matiie, my grandmother, was supposed to have been named.

I knew my Great Aunt Lydia very well. She was a headstrong woman who took no guff from anyone about anything! She married William Beritow Lynn, August 5, 1908. They had no children, that I am aware of, at least none that lived.

Mattie married James Wilbert Clark in the late 1890's. They had two sons:
*Emmett Valentine Clark, born Feb. 14, 1897, died Nov. 28, 1959. I do not know his first wife's name, but I do remember that he had daughters by her. His second wife was Helena Fischer. They had 2 children: Betty and Henry, aka Bud.
*Clifford, born April 3, 1903(1902), died Dec. 4, 1967. He was married many times according to family lore. His last wife was Helen Mildred Franchois Stumm, married in 1947. They had two children:
*James Clifford, stillborn about 1951
*Mary Anna, born Feb. 25, 1954
