Hi, If you want you can look under the Coalson Family tree entry I replied to back in September. That has some names and dates. Back in 1989 my dad's side of the family had a family reunion in Beaumont, CA. A cousin of my dad researched the family tree (family cresp) it went back so far, all the way back to Blackbeard the pirate. Blackbeard was a great, great, great, great, great grandfather of my dad. If you like, I can get out the info from the reunion to look up some history of your grandfather. You can e-mail me @ tmoreno544@aol.com. Sincerely, Tirrie Moreno

My g-grandmother, Harriett Missouri Coalson, was b.Feb 25, 1849 in Haralson or Paulding Co., GA. On Apr 10, 1870 she married Moses S. Garner and had 13 children. She died Aug 22, 1918. She and her husband are buried at Holly Springs Bapt. Ch. Cemetery, Paulding Co., GA. Her father, Rev. William Coalson, b. Sep 8, 1823, poss. in Ireland (family legend), married Harriett Eady on Dec 26, 1842 in Wilkerson Co., GA (per Family Tree Maker CD#3, which lists his last name as "Colsa"). Could this be your ancestor. It may be that my g-grandmother is the older sibling of your ancestor??? I have just started researching this branch of my family and only located the graves of William and Harriett Coalson four day ago.
