I am researching the Coak surname for a friend. Rochelle, I found this obit for a Sanford Coak, but it may not be the one you are looking for. It might give you some clues, though.

On his W W II draft registration he listed his middle name as Elery.

Journal Gazette, Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Feb 21, 1958

Mr. Coak died Wednesday morning at a hospital in Lancaster, Ohio. He had been ill about one month.

The "Leidus", which should be Letis, it is his son that I am doing the research for. You may email me at: <annaloum2003@yahoo.com>

Christopher, I saw your post and wondered if you might be the son of Bryant Coak. If so, I have been researching the Coak family for Gale, Bryant's father and have a lot of data I would be willing to share with you.

Hi Chad,
I have been talking to your brother, Ricky. In fact, he just called last night and I promised to send him the information I have on the Coak family. I researched this a couple of years ago for Gale (He is a son of Letis, Sanford's brother.)

Ricky says he doesn't have email so I am sending it by snail mail. However, if you would like to have me send a copy to you by email, let me know and I'll be happy to send it to you.

My email address is: annaloum2003@yahoo.com

I am interested in what Coak info you have.

Anxious to hear from you.
Anna
