Hi,

I realise this post was quite a while ago but I'm hoping to link up with Irish Coadys.

My ancestor was John William, possibly born in Wicklow in 1823. His wife was Betty b 1831 and son Michael b 1846. They then moved to Macclesfield where John, Elizabeth, and William were born. Do they match any Coadys you have?

Surnames: Coady
Hi,

On first pass I would say no, it doesn't look like these names synch up date-wise with Coady's in my tree. Feel free to review the tree yourself though (can you see it)?

Mark

I have a great great grandfather that came from Ireland "Richard Coady", the history file shows says that he came from Cork Ireland (but I believe that he sailed from Cork (Cobh)) and he was orphan and raised by an Aunt. Can anyone tell me more about this Richard Coady.

My MIL was Naomi Bridgette Coady dsughter of Daaniel J VCoady and Barbara McLlellan of Margaree NS. She grew up with Father Moses Coady
I am looking for Ritia, Ann, Joe, Daniel Barbara, and hope to increase the small tree on ancestry. Mo died in 1999. I would like to see your gedcom too as the coadies use the same stupid names for huge families and it is very hard to sort it out in the same town. There is a sight coady.ca which also has some stuff but not my husband's Ross family. A book was written about Rev Moses called Little Moses from Margaree, very good.

Hello Anne,
I am a great great great granddaughter of Martin Coady (one of the 3 brothers drowned). My sisters and I are building our tree. We would appreciate any information you have on their line (parents, those who stayed in Ireland, etc.). My sister's Ancestry.com memeber name is barbarafraser572. Would it be possible to pass anything you can share on to her?

Much appreciated!

Surnames: Coady Muirhead
Hello Anne,
My name is Alice. My great grandmother on my father's side was Margaret Coady. I don't know much more about her than that.

I noticed that you said you have a huge gedcom of Coady.
I was wondering if you would be willing to share that with me'
My Coady trail goes cold after my G grandmother Coady.
She lived in Nova Scotia. She married a Muirhead. I don't know if she was Irish or Scott. I would be greatful for any help you can give me. Check out my family tree on ancestry.
I have a very old photo uploaded there. It is the Alice Nelson family tree.
Thank you,
Alice

I show a John Coady marrying a Bridget Flanagan on Feb 12, 1872 in Quebec City. They had two kids, one born in 1874, the other born in 1875. Both died at about one year of age. Do you have either a John Coady or a Bridget Flanagan in your Coady family tree?

Thanks in advance,
Dan Flanagan
