Looking for James Joseph Coachman, born in the early 1800s and died in Decatur, Georgia.
His daughter's name was Sarah Helen Coachman, born March 29, 1843, in Georgetown, S.C., and died Oct. 14, 1919, in Hamilton, Texas.
Sarah Helen Coachman was married to Leonidas Crews, born Oct. 23, 1831, in Thomaston, Ga. and died Jan. 7, 1903, in Hamilton, Texas.
Ring any bells?

Howdy all! Leonidas Crews is my great-great-great grandfather. I have information on him and would be more than willing to share it. I would love to learn more about him, and Sarah Helen Coachman. Please reply if you have anything!
Thank you!
Jessica

James,
I am researching a site called COACHMAN CORNER(s) in what is now DORCHESTER county near Charleston. It was supposedly the home of the PEEDEE or PEE DEE Indians for a while.
I am searching for a descendant of that tribe who are now in ,I believe, Marlboro county and adjacent N.C. county.I have a paid genealogy site but just signed on and am a novice at using computer. I am 77, live alone and a WW2 veteran. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My e-mail carlhutto@myexcel.com

Hi Jessica,
I would be happy to help with your line. From which one of the 13 children do you descend?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
