BRIAN COACH, a resident of San Diego for nearly 30 years, died of natural causes at his home Wednesday morning, March 12, 2003, at the age of 45. Brian was born Brian Edwin Coach to father Alex Coach and mother Connie in Van Nuys, California, on June 30, 1958. Beloved by his family and friends, he will be remembered for his warm charm, humor, generosity and gracious spirit. Brian ' s interests included model aircraft building and flying, scuba diving, sailing, and working on his 1930 Model A Ford, Annabelle. Brian retired from supervisory position at Senior Aerospace Jet Products, San Diego, and with his wife of 10 years, Wendy, relocated to restore one of the oldest estate homes in the country. Together they opened The Priscilla Beach B in Plymouth, MA, which they operated successfully until March 2001. Brian is survived by wife Wendy; daughters, Diane and Stephanie; mother, Connie; brothers, Steve and George; and sister, Mary. Published in the San Diego Union-Tribune on 3/16/2003.
