Hi, did you see my post of July 28? The following is at the very bottom of the message I posted. This is where our lines could be connected if the years match up to yours. If you haven't already read my post and see how thengs match up to yours.

The IGI shows the following were children of Nicholas & Mary CLYMO
(sometimes spelled CLEMMOW), all baptised at Camborne (Nicholas CLYMO
married Mary COCK 8 Jul 1819 at Camborne):
Nicholas 30 Oct 1819; Sarah 29 Oct 1820; Mary 26 Jan 1822; FRANCIS 31 May
1823; William 5 Feb 1825; Jane 17 Mar 1827; and possibly: Charles 26 Apr
1834; Elizabeth 10 Sep 1836.
********
Nicholas CLYMO was baptised at Camborne 5 Apr 1794, son of Francis & Jane
(HARRIS) who married there on 29 Mar 1791.

Parents of James Stevens (my g. grandfather) b.10 June, 1866 in "Barrepa" Camborne, Cornwall, England; d.27 Sept. 1929 in Wisconsin, USA are

John M. (Michael) Stephens/Stevens
Mary Clymo (Clemo on James' death certificate, Clemmow alternate spelling in Cornwall). Mary would have been born about 1841 according to my calculations from other information sources.

Any connection?

Surnames: Clymo, Bevan,
My Francis Clymo was born in Camborne, Cornwall in 1854. There is a sister, Mary A Clymo, born in 1846. Father was FRancis Clymo and mother Grace Clymo. The 1871 census shows:
Clymo, Francis head m age 48 mine agent b 1823 camborne, Cornwall
Clymo, Grace wife m 46 b 1825 Camborne, Cornwall
Clymo, Mary A daughter U 25 b 1846 Camborne
Clymo, Eliza Son's (William) wife m 21 b 1850 Camborne William must already have been in CA or on his way there and left Eliza behind with his family. My 1880 California census has them listed together.
Clymo, Edward son U 20 tin miner b 1851 Camborne
Clymo, Francis son U 17 (mine) b 1854 tin miner, Camborne
Clymo, Sarah daughter - 15 b 1856 Camborne

Interestingly enough none of these people appear in Cornwall in the 1881 census. Francis Srs brother Nicholas Clymo is listed in 188. In the 1871 census for Camborne they are listed with their children and there is a daughter Mary who was born in 1841.
Also listed is a John M Stevens Sch b 1863 in Camborne. Here is the complete list of these people.
Clymo, Nicholas mine agent b 1818 Camborne
Clymo, Jane b 1817 Camborne
Clymo, Wm tin miner b 1939 Camborne
Clymo, Mary 1841 Camborne
Clymo, Eliza J 1847 Camborne
Clymo, Chas DARP 1852 Camborne
Clymo, Eliz Grocers asst 1856 Camborne
Stephens, John M Grandson Sch 1863 Camborne

So I would say, yes we are related. Your Mary comes from Nicholas and my Francis comes from Nicholas's brother Francis. Nicholas and Francis parents were Nicholas Clymo and Mary Cock married 8 July 1819 in Camborne, Cornwall. Their children are:
Nicholas (yours) 30 Oct 1819; Sarah 29 Oct 1820; Mary 26 Jan 1822; Francis ( mine) 31 May 1823; William 5 Feb 1825; Jane 17 Mar 1827; and possibly Charles 26 Apr 1834; Elizabeth 10 Sept 1836.

One more step back:

Nicholas Clymo was baptised at Camborne 5 Apr 1794, son of Francis & Jane (Harris) who were married there jon 29 Mar 1791.
This is what I have hope is helps. I have been working on another side of my family so have not gotten documents yet but will be doing so this fall. Keep in touch. It was nice hearing from you. Marilyn
