Surnames: Clymer Kingsland
I am looking for information on Lousia Clymer (B. 8 Sep 1878 D. 5 Jan 1967). She married Harry Bothel Kingsland (B. 4 Nov 1866 D. 5 Feb 1962). Her father was William H Clymer (B. 1845 D. 24 Mar 1883) and Mother Caroline Zorb (B. Oct 1851.) Her Grandfather is possibly Robert M Clymer (B. 1822 D. 1891) and grandmother Jane G Leaborn (B. 1827 D. 1917) After Williams death Caroline remarried Harry Ward. Harry and Lousia are buried in Fernwood Cemetery, Fernwood Pa (Lansdowne)

Louisa was born either in Philadelphia or Philippine Islands. It has been handed down that we are related to George (Signer) but as of this time I have not found any direct or indirect links to connect to him.

Hi Wacfrog,
We might be 3rd cousins, or 3rd, once removed, depending how many generations down you are. I think our family makes up at least a quarter of all burials in Fernwood!!!
I also descend from Robert M. Clymer and Jane Leabourne, through their oldest daughter, Elizabeth. Wm was born in Philadelphia, and Caroline was born in England. As far as I have a record, Louisa was also born in Phila, not in Delaware County (Drexel Hill>Upper Darby are in Del. Cty.)
I have tons of research on this family, I have been researching them for 30 years.
If you would like to contact me off of this site, I will gladly exchange information with you, you can contact me through my website: genealogytrails.com/penn/philadelphia/index.html You will see links that say "send to me" or something of the sort. There are several links for emails on the site.
I look forward to hearing from you, Kim

The Philppine Islands is a mistake that was made years ago--the place is clearly abbreviated Phila. on the census and somehow they transcribed that as Philippines. I have been asking for years to have it corrected, but nothing has been done so far.

Hi Wacfrog,

I forgot to mention that as far as I know there is not a direct connection to Geo the Signer. There is a possibility that we might descend from his Uncle. I have more information on this is you want to contact me thru my website as listed in previous email.

Wacfrog,

I also forgot to mention that I grew up in Drexel Hill also and later moved to the other end of Upper Darby just off Long Lane--Fernwood Cemetery was practically my backyard.

I believe that she was born in Philadelphia but my cousin says she has paperwork saying the Philippines. I have yet to see it. I would to hear more about what you have found. My email is Wacfrog@aol.com so you can contact me directly. Hope to heard from you.
