Ms. Ellings,
I know we must be related as my father's family was raised in Greeley and Loveland. Can you make the connection for me. My father Edwin Ralph Clymer, my grandfather, Ray Hugo Clymer, my great grandfather, George Jesse Clymer.
Thank you

Clymer

Hi Kathleen, Lee S. Clymer was married to my mothers Sister, Lee's parents are Sarah F. Windsor, and James D. Clymer. It might be that Lee and your grandfather were brothers Lee's b 7-24-1894, in Lawson, Ray, Mo. d. 7-20-1972. Has one offspring living but he is in his 80's with bad memory. Could give me no family information.
Apparently they moved from Lawson, Mo to Loveland as they Orpha Alice Swift and Lee R. Clymer were married in Lawson in 1914.
Found an Elmer Lee Clymer of Greeley, he served in WWI, 1917-1918, from Colorado. Was Quarter Master First Class. His records are on page 181 of the ROSTER OF MEN AND WOMEN WHO SERVED IN THE WORLD WAR FROM COLORADO 1917-1918, WELD COUNTY.
That is all the help I have for you hope it is helpful. Eula

Classification: Query
It has been so long since this was posted, I don't know if anyone will read this or not. I am the Great Granddaughter of Lee S. Clymer and Orpha Swift/Clymer. Their Daughter Wanda Clymer married George Hendrix, they had 3 daughters, their 3rd child is my mother. His wife, Orpha and I wrote a few letters to one another, and I remember visiting her home in Colorado as a young girl. My side of the family has lost touch with this side. If someone related reads this and would like to get in touch, please reply.
I am just beginning my research into our family roots - which of course begs the question - is this Clymer line related to the George Clymer/Declaration Signer...?
