I have information on Francis Clyma, a Cornish miner who came to America in 1821 settling in Apple River IL. Write to email address if you think there may be a connection.

I was wondering if you knew the parentage of your Francis
Clyma? My Cornish Clemow, also picked up as Clyma,
arrived c1853. I was wondering about the possibiliity of your Francis being an uncle or the like.

When did your Francis emigrate from England? I suspect there might actually be a connection. Please drop me a line,
when you have a chance. My Clemow people have been captured on records as Clyma too........and a few other variations. Please use my email address to contact me. My people were miners too.
