Hello, I live in Grants Pass, Oregon and am
looking for information of any Clydesdales
living in the U.S. to see if we have any relatives over here. I left Edinburgh, Scotland in 1963. My husband is retired U.S. Air Force. Anyone interest, please contact me through my email address above or call (541) 471-8765. Hope to hear from you.

John J. Clydesdale came to Newburgh, NY in 1895. He first worked in the shipyards but then was a blacksmith in Newburgh. His wife was Susan Ruddick. John died in 1947 - we believe he was born in Scotland (?) his wife in Ireland (?). He was my husband's (also John J. Clydesdale)g-grandfather. We wish to learn where he was born. Willing to share Clydesdale information.

I have Clydesdale in my family. My great grandmother was a Clydesdale who was born in NSW Australia. Her family came from Scotland. If anyone is interested in the information I have, I will forward.
