I am searching for proof that Mary Minerva Hilton Clyburn and George Walter Clyburn were the parents of William Franklin Clyburn. She moved to East Texas after George was killed in the Civil War. I am attempting to join the UDC under George Walter, but I can't find a census record which links George to William. I'm looking for the 1860 census.

hello again, I found a typo in ancestry 1860 censu for Kershaw S.C. that fits somewhat, last child born was, Franklin Clyburn, (they had he was 5 years old) but it should be 5/12 months!! his next oldest brother was Wesley!!! the others were initials but the Moms name was Herriette instead of Mary or Minerva!!1
I need a little more info on the rest of Wm.Franklin family members prior to civil war!!!my home e-mail is mlmcneely@cox.net if you would care to correspond that way!!! thanks, Mike
