Hi Barbara,
My concern is with an Australian soldier of WW1, a William Radcliffe Clucas, son of William Edward Clucas. W.R. Clucas appears to be one of 3 brothers from the IOM that served with Australia in WW1. You can see his details here:
http://recordsearch.naa.gov.au/scripts/imagine.asp?B=3261765...
If he is of some relation, or you know anyone who is, please contact me on robwhiting@iinet.net.au
Thanks,
Rob

I am travelling in Victoria at present so my family history files are home, my Annie was born in Parkes NSW,[Currajong] she had 2 children Lilian, Ernest, 3rd a boy died year of birth.
I descend from Lilian, who married Fredrick Reynolds, she had 3 children, & died in Wangaratta ?1925.

I haven't had success tracing Ernest's descendents, from memory he married a Duck who was a widow with a small child.

my email address is rodgbar@hotmail.com

HI

i believe that Annie was a relation of mine my Grandfather was born in Isle of Man he was Thomas Clucas and his brother were Frank and Albert Stephen also comes into the line somewhere but then I was told my grandfather had a uncle called Tossie
I wonder if this was Annie son Thomas he owned the laundry in Union Mills. and the family also had something to do with the florist. I would be grateful for any information and also a copy of the picture if this possible

Thanks
Diane (nee clucas)

Sorry to take so long to reply but have been on holidays.
I don't think there is any immediate link, my gr, gr, grandfather John Clucas was born IOM had a sister Annie, but non of the names you mention link up either. Whilst Clucas is not that common[not in Australia anyway] it is in IOM and common names don't help.
