Alfred Clubine, born Jan. 24, 1844 and died in 1912, was buried in Pickerel Cemetery, Sullivan County, Winigan, Missouri. He was a brother of my grandfather, Ezra Clubine. His name is on the tombstone in the Newmarket Cemetery. The names of several of the early Clubines who left York County and settled elsewhere were placed on the large Clubine stone in Newmarket. Alfred's wife was Susan, and they had two adipted children, Grace and Chester.

Hello again,
I'm sorry that I cannot give you any more details concerning Grace or Chester. I have a Clubine family tree book and the only other information is that Grace lived in South Bend and Chester in Michigan. Also, that Alfred Clubine was married to his cousin, Susan Clubine.
My father, Edgerton Clubine, corresponded with Grace and with Chester fairly regularly. He and Chester were interested in family history. Dad passed away in early 1996 at the age of 104.
I'll contact my older brother and see if he still has some of dad,s correspondence.

According to family records, Ezra Clubine born 04-10-1795 married to Millicent Swazey was the son of Andrew Clubine and Elizabeth Biles. Andrew was born i04-23-1764 an died 10-05-1829-Elizabeth was born 12-4-1768 and died 8-17-1833. Ezra had a son named Andrew also who was born 08-31-1985 and married Jane Steele who was born 04-12-1827.This Andrew was my great grandfather. My grandfathers name was Robert Wellington Clubine born August 17 1864.My great grandfather, Andrew and grandfather were born in Canada and immigrated to Mo.
I would like to have any information that you might have about Ezra's Siblings, also any information that you might have on Andrews children. I have records of childrens names and dates of birthdating back to the Andrew born in 1764. I understand that they moved to Canada in 1801.
I am getting some information from one of my Canadian cousins-
I have a table that was made on the ship coming from the Channel Islands in about 1737. Aparently our ancestor was quite a craftsman. My husband restored it and it is very pretty.
I would be interested in sharing information with you and would love to get any information that you have.

I am one of your Canadian cousins. Andrew Clubine immigrated to Canada in 1800 with three children and four more were born here.
Mary, born in 1790, married Garrett Lloyd. Keturah, born in 1792 married a Rhodes and was the ancestor of Cecil Rhodes of Africa fame. Ezra was next. The others were Nancy, Frederick, Andrew, and John.
Perhaps you have the Clubine family tree book that was compiled around 1980-81, and it gives all the names of Ezra's siblings and who they married. Any information that I would supply might be already known to you.
Andrew Clubine, your great grandfather, was a brother of my great grandfather, Israel Swayze Clubine. Israel's son, Ezra, was my grandfather, and my father was also Ezra, but preferred to be called by his second name, Edgerton.
If you need more information about Andrew's siblings, etc., I would be glad to send it on to you.
I find the fact that the original Clubine made a table on the boat very interesting.
My older brother has an Eli Terry mantle clock that Andrew brought to Canada. It has all wooden cog wheels and still works. I have a hand made steel try-square that Ezra, son of Andrew, made in 1819.
I would like to have further correspondence with you. You can e-mail me directly at
