I am a descendant of David Cloyd and Margaret Campbell. I found much of the information in AD Cloyd's book to be helpful, and much of it to be incorrect or confusing. I have been able to sort out some facts using other various sources such as books, probate records, etc.

I, too, would love to get further back past Ireland, but have been frustrated. I'll be checking in on your site to see what you're working on. Thanks for sharing!
