Hello, I am currently researching my family history and discovered that my great-great-great-great-great grandmother was Wilhelmina "Mina" Clocksin born August 8, 1820 in Mecklenburg, Germany and died February 24, 1901 in Milwaukee, WI. She married Joachim F. Nevermann. Any connections out there?

Have you collected the family death notices for Joachim Nevermann and Minna Clocksin Nevermann?

I've indexed them from the local German papers. And I have entries for the spellings Klocksin, Klocksien and Klockzien -- but not Clocksin (so far).

For more information contact the editor/compiler of "Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950).

... and Joachim Nevermann in Milwaukee had some connection with the German towns of Wismar and Crivitz.
