I am looking for the father of my great-grand-father, Turner Wilkerson Cliburn b. 1850, d. 1918 in Cole Co., Missouri. His mother's maiden name is thought to have been White. We were told that he had two brothers, a William and a Thomas.

Please email me if you have any information of interest.

Thanks

Hello Jon Marc, I don't have information about your family, I don't think anyway?? but my CLIBURNS are/were in the MO. area. Grandfather was JP (Joseph Peterson) CLIBURN and he was buried in about 1935 in Cuba, Crawford County, MO... I have recently moved back to MO....
where in MO. do yours hail from?? I will be going to Cuba in the next few weeks and will be doing some research there.. Please let me know if I can be of help, I'll do what I can, as of now J P has been a real brick wall to me. Let me know..

My Cliburn's were from Moniteau/Cole Counties in Missouri or up Northwest of Jefferson City, Mo.

That there are two different Cliburn families in Missouir is odd, considering the spelling and size of the family name. Perhaps there is some relationship? Let's keep in touch.

I have done considerable research on the name in Missouri prior to 1900 so perhaps I could be of some help to you. Let me know.
