my name is Stephen Clibbens, 34 nearly, from Leeds in WestYorkshire. My father and Grandfather are also both from Leeds, and I am just tracking down the family history for a bit of fun.
Apparently , Clibbens is a variation on Clibbourne, Which is a small village in cumbria, where we all started out from many centuries ago,
glad to see we have cousins in america, maybe a family get together in the future may be in order.
se ya all around.

Hi , It is Ian again.Sorry it has taken me a long time to reply, but you know how time flies bye.

From what i understand from my dad is that his grandfather is from France. So we may have a bit of mixed blood in the line.

If you do still check this page , please email me at my address for a chat.

My maternal Grandmother was May Rose Clibbens born in 1898. I have tracked down her relatives to the early 1830's. Maybe related????

Are you the Stephen Clibbens that has a page on friends re-united as I also have an interest in motor bikes. I have several bikes that I use but my favourite is an Vincent Square Four 1000cc bike that I am renovating as part of my university thesis. Looking at your photo on friends re-united I would think we must be distantly related as there is definately similar bone structure and we are very alike. I have been meaning to write for a while but with the bikes and practicing with a band at my university that I am in I never have the time
