Hi Ian, My name is Kay Wood nee Clibbens and am the youngest daughter of your dad's brother Michael. My sister remembers visiting you all before you left London for Plymouth but after that all contact was lost. It would be good to hear from you to see what information you now have, and if I can help you I would be more than happy to do so. I look forward to hearing from you . Best Regards. Kay

Hi Peggy
Having just done a bit of research on Steve's behalf, I can confirm that the answer is not quite, but he is Steve's Great Grandfather.
Steve's dad is Laurence Clibbens, Laurence's father was Arthur E Clibbens, and Arthur E's father was Laurence Clibbens.
Kind Regards
Ian
PS. Anyone wanting to see how all the Clibbens's connect should take a look at the wonderful FOSTER/HARTWELL family tree owned by davfoz. Not my work, but whoever it is has put hours of effort into it and you can trace everything - the American/Pittsburgh branch, the Hertfords lot and the Leeds crews.

Re: Clibbens in Australia
Hi, I have just started researching my family history, and through nan on my mothers side we are descendants of the Clibbens line, I am up to a John Clibbens 1858-1949, son Edward 1896-1961 was my great grandfather.
If anyone can help me take this back further it would be greatly appreciated.
