There are many, many folks out there who are posting a photo to their trees on Ancestry that is supposedly John Marshall Clemens. I'm sure the first person who posted it was in error, and the rest of the folks just picked it up as a hint. Folks, you need to look closely at that caption. This is a photo of a portrait of Chief Justice John Marshall who was the fourth Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. It's a great portrait, but it is not of John Marshall Clemens. I've been told that there are no known images of John Marshall Clemens in existance.
