My great-grandmother was Ida Mae (Clark) McKenzie. She married Andrew Jackson 'Jack' McKenzie on July 3, 1917. They are both from around Catlettsburg, Kentucky. I have found her parents to be William Wesley Clark & Mary Brown. I've always been told that Ida was half-Cherokee. Is there anyway that I could find how and where this heritage ties in? I just recently found her parents' names, so I'm still doing research. I'll attach a picture of her if that might help.
