Josephine M. (Clacko) DeChellis, 89, passed away at Beeghly Oaks on Monday afternoon, October 25, 2010.

Josephine was born on March 20, 1921, in Hubbard, Ohio(Mahoning County) a daughter of Henry and Mary Lacivita Clacko.

She came to Struthers in 1941 and worked in the catering business for Garono Catering and then Mr. Anthony’s.

She was a member of St. Nicholas Church in Struthers She was a former member of St. Anthony’s Auxiliary in Struthers and a former member and past president of the Italian-American War Veterans Auxiliary.

Josephine married James V. DeChellis on Sept. 15, 1941, and he passed away on Nov. 15, 2005.

She leaves two sons, James J. (Patty) DeChellis Sr. of Struthers and Carl L. (Kathy) DeChellis of Poland, Ohio; one daughter, Antoinette M. (Richard) Shubert of Boardman, Ohio; one brother, Anthony Clacko of Hubbard; three sisters, Susan Federico of Hubbard, Mary Bizzarri of Youngstown, Ohio and Phyllis Gedeon of Cleveland, Ohio; six grandchildren, Jo Lynn (Doug) Franz, Leslie (fiance Ken) Fredrick, J.J. (Jackie) DeChellis, Nichole Marie DeChellis, Jeffrey (Colleen) DeChellis and Vincent DeChellis; and seven great-grandchildren, Marlo, Dante and James DeChellis, Jacob Jones, Caleb, Elijah and Blake Franz.

Josephine was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers, Felix, John, Henry Clacko and infant Henry Clacko; and three sisters, Jennie Scoutelos, Eleanor Garono and Elizabeth Chicase.

Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers, Ohio.

Andrew F. Chicase Jr. - Mahoning County, Ohio

POLAND – There will be 9 a.m. funeral services on Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman, Ohio followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Holy Family Church in Poland, Ohio for Andrew F. Chicase Jr., 73, who passed away on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014.

Andrew was born Jan. 19, 1941, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Andrew F. Sr. and Elizabeth (Clacko) Chicase.

Andrew was retired from General Motors in Lordstown, OH.

He was an avid bowler and golfer and was inducted into the Youngstown Men’s bowling Hall of Fame.
Andrew faithfully served with the U.S. Marine Corps.

Andrew will be remembered lovingly by his wife, Kathleen M. (Venosky) Chicase; their five children, Andrew F. (Roseann) Chicase III, Jeffrey Chicase, Monica Guthridge, Renee Devlin, and Marla Chicase; and their children, Mark Guthridge, Andrew F. IV, Matthew, Brandon Chicase, Michael Parise and Shawn Devlin; and also leaves, Sherry, Andrea and Eric and their children; two brothers, John (Michelle) and William Chicase.

Besides his parents, Andrew was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucy Lentine and Mary Clark and sister-in-law, Cindy Chicase.

Friends may call on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman, OH.

Andrew will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, where his dedication to our country will be furthered recognized with full military honors provided by the great men of V.F.W. Post 9571 of Ellsworth.
