Hello,
I am writting to ask if you have found anymore out on the CLABORN/CLABURN family line you speak of.
I have found a great deal of census information on this Claburn and various spellings family.
I am hoping to move further back in research as soon as I get all of this paper work sorted out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I was working on Nathan Britt Claborn today!
A light bulb went off, I had Martha Josephine Claburn confused with Josephine (Collins) Claburn her mother. What a dunce I can be at times.
I haven't found anyone thus far who has gotten back any further and was hoping you had.
I have a few census back to 1810 that could fit the bill for our Nathan BRITTON Claburn and various spellings.
I use Claburn because that is what my father was.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Rebecca

Nathaniel Britain Claborn married Mahala Lancaster both of them were born in Virginia. I submitted a new posting regarding their daughter's (Amelia Claburn) death certificate. According to this death certificate Mahala's last name was Lancaster. Contact me to recieve a copy of the death certificate.

James-

I saw your posting regarding Mahala Claborn's maiden name and would love to have a copy of the death certificate. I am descended from Nathan through his son William M. Claborn. and grandson David Solomon Claborn.
