Census Transcribed Information

Classification: Query
Surnames: Clabaugh
So I have been researching my Clabaugh family line without much success. One one of Willis's census records, in the info part, it lists this info:
Name: W W Clanbaugh
Birth Year: abt 1871
Birth Place: Iowa
Gender: Male
Race: White
Marital Status: Married
Census Date: 1 Jan 1925
Residence State: Iowa
Residence County: Hamilton
Locality: Hamilton
Relation to Head: Head
Mother: Mary Fesher
Mother's Birthplace: Ohio
Father: Burly Clanbaugh
Father's Birthplace: Ohio
Marriage Place: Ohio
Spouse Name: Minnie Clanbaugh

Now Mary Fisher and Perley/Pearly Clabaugh were married and lived in the same area. They were also both born in Ohio which Willis's parents were. However, on all of their records I never see a record of Willis being one of their children. Most of Willis's information lists his birth date as about 1871/1872. They do have a child born around the same time, but their name is Lyman G. I don't see how Willis W. could come from that. When they list that transcribed information with the census records where are they getting that information? Is it just a guess? I have tried high and low to confirm it but cannot find any confirmation anywhere.

Ok so I found my answer to where the info came from. (I found the second page) However, I still don't know why I can't find any more information that points to those being his parents. Any ideas?

Sorry I misspoke earlier. Around 1871/1872 was their child Nathan C. I still don't see how that could become Willis W. Any ideas?
