Henry Claar and Eve Earnest (aka Indian eve)

Henry Claar and Eve Earnest (aka Indian eve)

Surnames: earnest and claar
In my research I have noticed that Henry Claar is linked to Eve Earnest. I also noticed he has been linked to Eve M. Earnest aka Indian Eve.

I believe there has been a mistake made, and there are two different eve earnests.

The story of Indian Eve clearly shows she was married to an adam ernest and the book indian eve and her descendants show an "eve" married to henry claar.

somewhere i belive a mix up has occured but not sure on which end.

can anyone spread some light on this one way or the other?

thank you in advance

Hello Swizzlestickz:

It would help if you could give some dates and places for the people you reference. In our Germanna Tree at Ancestry we have many, many Henrys with surnames of CLORE, CLOER, CLAAR, KLAAR, etc., some with middle names, some with Henry as middle name, but don't know to which one you specifically refer. Please, when posting/asking for information, give all the details you have, and sources for your information. Makes it a lot easier for others to help you.

Indian Eve's gravestone states that she was married to Adam Ernst. She is also talked about in the book "The Kernel of Greatness" by the Bedford County Heritage Commission as linked to Adam Earnest.

Thank you so much. I did find a memorial plaque that was placed at the site of the indian attack and it also lists adam ernst. I notice in the book about Indian Eve and her descendants it lists an eve married to a henry claar or "heinrich" claar but can't figure out which Henry claar it was or which "eve" it is.

I thank you for your response and am confident now with your message and the memorial plaque that I've run into two different people or an inaccuracy.

Have a very blessed Holidays.
