Go to keyword "Roots" then follow instructions on that which comes up. The first will have a yellow oblong space in the lower right. Click on. Come to the next where you can enter in a name. Place Balthasar Clar. This brings you to the choice of clicking onto the descendents of Balthasar. Claar. My grandfather was Francis who died in Jackson, Ohio. My father's name. Lawrence McKinley Claar.

Hi, Art! I'm new to this. I assume I'm from the same Claars as you are. Simon Claar from Germany, born 1732, died 1812???? Anyway, I've found copies of family group records with several of the names you've listed. I also have a copy of Simon's will and record of his sister's ad in newsparer in search of him after becoming free(indentured servant). Well, I hope after all that I've got the right family. I'd love to hear from you to share information.

To Alesha and Art:
Go to www.familytreemaker.com, enter Balthasar Clar in the search engine. Click on the link that says "Descendents of Balthasar Clar." Click on the link that says "First Page." You'll find some very useful information. I recently sent an update to the gentleman who maintains the tree, to include my immediate family (I go back to Johann and Balthasar through Frederick Claar).
Good luck!

I have over 14,000 descendants of the CLAAR family. I only have two children listed for Daniel
and nothing more. Could you send me all the descendency data on Daniel and I'll send you the entire
data on CLAAR family.
