Hello everyone,
I also am related to Simon Claar through Frederick. I have heard that Simon was also a Revolutionary War Capt. in PA. Can anyone prove this?
My line goes down from Frederick to Mathias and Mary Musselman. Sarah Claar and Daniel Walter. They had Bartholomew Walter and he was my GG grandfather.
I would love to have a copy of Simon's will and the newspaper article.
Thanks all!
DeAnn

You are correct. I am your uncle. I called Francis when I read this on the Claar message site and she verified that you are still very much alive living in Thornville. I also checked on the White pages and learned of your mail address. So glad to hear from you and will be happy to keep in touch if you send your e-mail address. Your uncle Richard.

Hi
I have a Claar on both sides of my family. One was a Simon Claar who had a daughter Anna Mariah Claar who married John Whysong. I think this is around the Pa. area.
Then I have a Rebecca Mercer who married a Adam Claar in Ohio. Is this any of yours?
