No, you are not. I just found this site in Google, and by the looks of the date, you may not even be checking this anymore. There are a few of us - try typing Cirella into google.com and take a lok at the over 3000 sites that are listed. I guess somewhere along the family tree, a branch ended up in New York. I typed Cirella into a search engine, and spent a few minutes checking out some of the links. Near as I can figure out, there are 3 branches of Cirella clan - ours (the Sudbury-Montreal-Hamilton, Ontario triangle of which I am a member), a New York clan that has about 5 branches itself - 3 in New York, one that moved to Singapore, and one that moved to Texas/Arizona, and the final brach is still in Italy, split itself among the Cirella region outside of Diamanti (where my part of the clan originated from what i can tell), and a more Northern Clan north of Turino. Pretty neat, eh? Drop me a line if you are still online and get this message - bitweird@rogers.com.

Chris Cirella.
Sorry it has taken so long to reply been too busy.
The Diamanti family in italy I have come to a brickwall.
Charles Leopold Diamanti was born 1818 Livorno Tuscany Italy. Parents Louis Diamanti who was married to Claudina Columbine(d). I can find no trace. But I have found Charles in Dayton Ohio married with four kids??????????. I have had a quick look ages ago at Cirella but I was pretty new to genealogy then. Sea Captains and mariners father and son.
He went to Australia married and had two kids and immigrated to New Zealand and had 8 more kids.
