Is your sername ciraolo,do you have any ties with sicily (italy) a small town called cianciana,if so we may be related,please email back to see if were related.Sicily or southern Italy are the areas that may mean something if your a ciraolo.

my parents anna vitello and philip ciraolo came from grotto,argrigento,sicily. my maiden name was ciraolo. i know there are a lot of ciraolo in sicily. i don't know if this is any help. my brother was named after my father's father, anthony. i was named after my father's father tomasa (added the ina years later

to carol ciraolo. my grandfather,s name was anthony ciraolo he had 2 chilren philip, my father and my aunt vera. their mother died and my grandfather remarreid and had 4 more children. i think mky father philip came over when he was about 19, not sure. i know there are a lot of ciraolos in grotto. i don't know to much about our family history.

This is my Grandmother..Her name was Gaetana..11/29/1909 she was 28 years old, married to Giovanni Ciranlo,who lived in Reed Pa, came over to the USA on the ship Regina d'Italia from Girgenti, Gratte.
They came from Grotte..
The city in Sicily where the family came from is Palermo.
Gaetona Carmella Provenza she was born in 1881
(because this info was copied off Ellis Island info, the names may be soelt a tiny bit wrong.)

hi dawn, my parents came from grotte. my fathers name was fillippo ciraolo and my mothers name was anna vitello. i have aunt still living there. her husband ciraolo died. our family was there in october but did not get a chance to see them. got to see my husband cousins. could not see too much , they were having a gas stike at the time. my fathers sister name was venera ciraolo bosco. my father had ( ithink ) 2 step brothers) . i don't know if my grandfathers had any brothers or sisters. still trying to get information on the ellis illand site.there must be some kind of relationship way back. hope to hear from you. mazzie(tomasina)
