Hi Peter,

I was taken back when I saw your list of Ciocca names. My husband was born in Longano Italy. His father was Carmine Ciocca (b. 1924) brothers were Luigi, Vincenzo, Sabatino, Antonio, Libero, Pepino, Guiseppi, and a Sister Maria Antonia. 4 brothers, Carmine, Luigi, Vincenzo, Antonio came to Philadelphia. Their father was Giovanni Ciocca. It is said that Giovanni had brothers that came to Philadelphia from Longano, Molise, Italy and never returned. Would you have any information on where your great grandfather came from?

my mothers family came from Abruzzio area. her grandfather was Michaelangelo Ciocca,he came here from Italy in about 1885-1890 . The woman he married was named Maria Dominica?I really don't have much information on them or to be honest her father.Other than the fact that he was one of 18 children.

thank you , on my fathers side I can go back to the late 1500's but I only know that my great grandfather,Michaelangelo Ciocca ,on my mothers side, came to this country in the late 1800"s . I know other things too but they are not essential to finding any family.
