Rose, The next time I get home will probably be in May or June and I will either scan or photograph the pictures and email them. (I see that there is a way to attach files on the Message Board.) The picture of Grandpa Cina's father is s a very old touched-up photograph that you will really like. I would love to see any pictures you have of my grandparents. They both died before I was born so I only know them from the few pictures my mother has. After Maddie died Merrill sent my mother some pictures that were taken in the 1930s and 1940s when my mother was a teenager.

Judy, I was told that Maddie left Joe with the intent to sponsor him and he was to join her. However, after she returned from Italy she sent Joe a package containing a pair of shoes. The note inside indicated that the shoes were a gift for his nephew and that the straw packaging was for him. I was also told that Maddie kept the pregnancy from him. She was afraid that he would come looking for her. Rose

I have never heard a story about Maddie that sounded more like the Maddie I knew. Judy

Hi Rose
I am looking at the Cina family also. How is Nicola Bellisimo related to Gregorio and Valenzia? I am looking for any info on them.

Malfero, Malfara
Hello,
I am also looking for family from San Nicola da Crissa. I noticed that you had some references to Malfara family name. I am looking for information on my great grandfather Bruno Malfero. I have not see it spelled Malfara, but it could be I have it wrong. Is this name familiar to anyone? I can't find much of anything on him and my grandmother, his daughter, Gloria. Some things say she was born in Italy and some in the USA. If you have any information it would be most appreciated.
