I have just begun my search on the Cinas in my family. I went this past weekend to a Family History Center to look up Cina from 1876-1895. I did find some of my family, and, if you have more info and dates, maybe your family may be included in this list. I will look up more dates as the opportunity arises. Please keep in touch.

I've recently beento a family history center to look up Cina births from 1976-1895. Do you know any birthdates and mother's names?

That sounds pretty familiar. By grandfather Anthony, came with his mother Rose from Sicily through Ellis Island in 1899. He grew up in Chicago after his father died of pneumonia while working on the railroad somewhere in the west. He had a number of younger siblings, I don't have all of there names readily available, but can get them. Hope this helps a little. Let me know if it sounds at all familiar.

Thanks,
Rob

I too am a member of this family line. It has been a long time since I heard from anyone researching this family (from Italy). All the information you list is very similar to mine for this family. I am sure that we are related. I will look at my records and see what I have and get back to you with anything I can offer to assist.

I would love to know if we have a connection, but my information on my Cina family is very limited. Even my grandparents know very little so I am trying to find the family from scratch. If you would give me names, then I can keep my eyes open as I research. If you'd like you can contact me at my home address, lindylou@chipsnet.com that would be great. Maybe we can discover this together. Thanks, Lynn

Sure. Let me dig those up. My grandfather had about 9 siblings. I will send their names when I get them.

Thanks,

Rob
