YOUNGSTOWN – Fred Cimaglia, 86, passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 8, 2013.
Fred was born Feb. 26, 1926, in Youngstown, Ohio the son of Achille and Amelia (Greco) Cimaglia.
He was a self employed antique salesman.
Fred proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army during the Battle of the Bulge.
He was a member of the 99th Infantry Division.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
His wife, Anna, whom he married March 15, 1952, passed away Aug. 5, 1976.
He will always be remembered by his sister, Lucy Conti of Boardman, Ohio; a brother, John (Carol) Cimaglia of Boardman; and nieces and nephews, Saundra (Michael) Luchey of Boardman, Ohio Debra (Kris) Whitmore of Poland, Ohio and Don and Glen Cimaglia, both of Boardman, Ohio.
Besides his parents and wife, Fred was preceded in death by his brother, Dominic Cimaglia.
There will be a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home 4442 South Ave. in Boardman for

BOARDMAN, OH – Lucy Conti, 91, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013.
Lucy was born on Dec. 24, 1921, in Youngstown, Ohio the only daughter of Achille Cimaglia and Emilia Greco Cimaglia.
Lucy graduated from Scienceville High School in 1940.
She was employed in the restaurant of Strouss-Hirshberg Department Store during World War II.
Lucy enjoyed traveling with her family, attending army reunions with her husband and daughters, ballroom dancing and bowling in the Italian American League.
She was an expert seamstress, cook and baker.
Lucy was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and enjoyed participating in service projects and social activities with her sorority sisters.
She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and was so proud of each of her grandchildren.
Lucy married Adam Conti on Oct. 18, 1941. They celebrated 70 years of marriage together.
She was a lifelong member of the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Youngstown, Ohio.
Lucy leaves her two daughters, Sandra (Michael) Luchey and Debra (Kris) Whitmore.
She also leaves four grandchildren, Lisa (James) Kutchel, Dr. Adam Luchey, Ross Whitmore and Marc Whitmore.
Lucy also leaves her great-granddaughter, Adalyn Marie Kutchel, named after her beloved husband, Adam.
Lucy also leaves her brother, John Cimaglia.
Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Conti, who passed away Feb. 12, 2012, and two brothers, Dominic and Fred Cimaglia.
Prayers will be at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
Calling hours are from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman, Ohio.
