I have recently received new information from Campolattaro, Benevento on the Cifaldi family. This info includes 50 new names and goes back to 1630 ca.
Maybe I can help your search. E-mail me with a name and I'll look for it.

I am going to be in italy in July and wanted to visit Campolattaro. My family, it is said, held the marqese title there. How can I find more info out and look up our family crest and relatives?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Sincerely,
Lorin Campolattaro

There is very little on the internet about Campolattaro.
You could check with the local church and the city government while you are there . These may prove difficult and time consuming.

OR, contact "My Italian Family" www.myitalianfamily.com they will research it for you (for a fee) and you can have a great deal of information before you go to Italy and make your visit to Campolattaro even more interesting and valuable. While you're there you could then take the time to visit all the sites and maybe the cemetery (looking for family names), etc.
I have used "My Italian Family" and was pleased with their research services.
Hope this helps some.
Have a great trip to Italy.

Hey, Lorin

My name is Anthony Campolattaro and I live in NJ. My father has a few pictures of our crest and from what I know we do have family in Italy. I think we have some in Capri and other places but I am not to sure. Anyway, be free to contact me if you so happen to obtain a picture of the crest or find out any other information. Thank you. :o)

Hello, My name is Amber Caiazza, I am researching my family tree and have found the Cifaldi branch of my tree. I was wondering if you had any information about Angelo Cifaldi born about 1873 in Campolattaro, Italy. He may have came through NY in 1900 from Naples, and raised a family in Ohio (Bellaire).

Thanks for contacting me. I'm sure our families connect at one point if not more.
My Cifaldi family history includes numerous connections to the Nardone and Pistacchia family in Campolattaro over the last 400 yrs. Other family names connected to my Cifaldi's are Morelli, Calabrese, and Iariccio. My mother told me of an Iadanza who also lived in Bellaire, OH. I'm sure there are more family names involved but I can't remember them right now.
Hope pour research goes well.
