If you are out there-please E-mail me!

Maureen,
My name is Toni Serviss. My maiden name is Toni Ciaccio. I don't know any information about your aunt or uncle Jim, but I thought I would reply because we somehow must be related with such an odd name. My grandfather was Alfonso Ciaccio and he was originally from New York City also. If you find any info please contact me and visa versa. I wish I could give you your answers, I am sorry that I can't at this time, but I will see if my aunt Lena who was my dad's sister new your aunt and uncle.

Debbie,
My grandfather was a Ciaccio. He came from Italy into New York City at a young age. He married my grandmother who was a cacossa. Your uncle may very well have been related to my grandfather. can you give an approximate age? I have one of my dad's sister and brother who are close to eighty and very sharp who may have known some info on your uncle.

Maureen: My great grandmother's maiden name was Ignazia Ciaacio and she was from sciacca, Italy. She married Filippo Catagnano and they resided in Norristown, Pa. Just wanted to know if there was any relation. I know that my Great Grandfather came over from Italy in 1889. If you know of any ties let me know. I have done some research and have seen some Ciaacio names that are listed in Sciacca, Italy.

Toni you mentioned that your grandfather is from NY. I am curious because my father told me that his uncle was named Alfonso (we are all from NY), and his siblings were, Augostine, Achille, Alberto and Filomena. Alfonso had many children I beleived named, Salverio, Carmel, Alfonse, Salvetore, Clarence, Leana and maybe Bettina. See if your family recognizes these names. Sounds very probable.
