Charles Chubb, (1841-1913), Wallaceburg, Ontario, Canada
I am looking for any details of the descendants of Charles and Eleanor (nee Swainson) Chubb (who, I believe were married in Jersey, The Channel Islands), who were living in Wallaceburg from at least 1869. Their children were, Charles, Arthur, John, Beatrix, Claude, Inez and Gerald, all born in the 1860's to 1880's. Please e-mail me if you have any details of this branch of the Chubbs. I know that Beatrix (1876-1947) married Charles Fothergill and both are buried in Wallaceburg. Hope to hear from somebody.

Re: Charles Chubb, (1841-1913), Wallaceburg, Ontario, Canada
Dear Christopher
Thank you for replying to my request for information regarding Charles Chubb. I have just returned from holiday, and checked my e-mails. I am a descendant of John Swainson Chubb, son of Charles Chubb, and brother of Gerald. I have also received a message from Bob Chubb, grandson of Claude Chubb, another of John's brothers. Are you in touch with each other, and any other members of the family. My mother has been compiling a family tree, so would welcome any information you have on the family, past and present. We are based in England, and assume most of the family are in Canada or the US. I would be very pleased to correspond further if you would be interested.
Regards,
Mary Winterburn

Dear Mary Winterburn Bob Chubb, I have some information on our ancestors' christening dates, etc. I also have a big poster-sized family tree that I acquired years ago, that has all the Chubbs who were involved in the family firm. I want to determine where we all "branch" off from it. You can reach me via email at cchubb@home.comor via regular mail at: C.P. Chubb 35 Knollview Crescent WILLOWDALE ON M2K 2C9

Dear Bob,
I have a letter written by Tom Chubb to my greatgrandfather Gerald in 1935, concerning the death of Arthur Chubb, aged 64 who was visting China. My contact details appear in the 'John Swainson Claude Howard Chubb' message (in case you don't receive a copy).
